ADMISSIONS PROCESS

We register a limited number of players each season, so if you are interested in the program, we recommend that you submit the application as soon as possible.

Interested players can visit the Aquinas American school enrollment portal and follow the instructions for admission.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Students interested in applying for the Getafe International MFA Soccer Development (Male Players) program or the Madrid Football Academy (Female Players) will need to apply through the online application platform of Aquinas American School.

Students will be required to fill the online application form as well as providing the following information trough the portal:

- Academic transcripts for the last 2 years
- Copy of the player ́s passport
- A recommendation letter from a coach
- A recommendation letter from the school
Candidates will also need to provide additional information about their soccer level (other recommendations, match videos, etc.).

ASSESSMENT

Getafe International MFA will contact the player and the family to evaluate your application. This assessment may include an interview with the player via Skype, with the family and with his coach or soccer club.

NOTIFICATION AND ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Getafe International MFA will confirm the outcome of the process to the player and his family within 15 days of the request. If the answer is positive, that letter will indicate the deadline for the acceptance of the place and how to make the first payment of the program.

Once the first payment has been received, MFA will issue a second letter with the official admission to the program. This letter will indicate the start and end dates of the program the student has been admitted into.

The costs of obtaining the Visa are borne by the player's family.

 

​Medical, Accident and Civil Liability Insurance Policies

Players participating in the program will be covered at all times by two different medical insurance policies:

On the one hand, with a compulsory medical insurance for all students in Spain, which guarantees coverage in the Spanish Public Health System.

On the other hand, GIMFA will contract a private medical insurance for all participants in the program. The contracted insurance includes an Accident and Civil Liability Insurance Policy.

Airport Transfers​

Along with the letter of admission, GIMFA will send a form where families will indicate the expected date of arrival and the information about flights or trips, to organize the collection and transfer of the student from the airport to the residence.
