Story

During his years in the academy, Tawona developed into a dynamic and intelligent central midfielder capable of competing at a high level in Spain. His consistency and growth were rewarded in 2023 when he signed for Getafe CF División de Honor, one of the most competitive youth categories in Spanish football.

That same year, Tawona graduated from GIMFA and Aquinas American School after completing his development process both on and off the field.

Following his time at Getafe CF, Tawona transitioned into senior football in Spain. He competed with Villanueva del Pardillo in Tercera RFEF during the 2023–24 season before joining San Sebastián de los Reyes B, where he helped the club achieve promotion to Tercera RFEF. He later continued competing with Galapagar and AD Villaviciosa de Odón.

Tawona’s journey reflects the values of perseverance, development, and commitment that define the GIMFA experience.
