Story

Max Sakae Ogawa is one of the first and most notable success stories of Getafe International MFA. Born in Sydney, Australia, he developed his football between Australia and Spain before joining GIMFA, where he spent two key developmental years (2019–2021).

During his time in the program, Max stood out for his tactical intelligence, positional discipline, and consistency in midfield. In February 2021, his progression led him to sign with Getafe CF U19, where he made an immediate impact—debuting against Rayo Vallecano and scoring in his first match.
