Admission request

Students interested in applying for the Getafe International MFA Soccer Development (Male Players) program or the Madrid Football Academy will need to apply through the online application platform of Aquinas American School.

Application Requirements

Students will be required to fill the online application form as well as providing the following information trough the portal:

  • Academic transcripts for the last 2 year
  • Copy of the player ́s passport
  • A recommendation letter from a coach
  • A recommendation letter from the school
  • Candidates will also need to provide additional information about their soccer level (other recommendations, match videos, etc.).

Admissions Process

The evaluation and admission process at Getafe International MFA involves a thorough assessment of each player, including potential interviews with the player, their family, and coach. Within 15 days, the academy will notify the family of the decision. Upon acceptance, the player will receive instructions on how to confirm their spot and make the initial payment.

VISIT, INTERVIEW AND TEST

All students will need to pass our academic admission process at AAS and will have to schedule an interview as part of the selection process. We advise future players of the Academy to come and know us personally, delve deeper into the program and see our facilities, although we can also arrange a video conference call for the final interview

Confirmation of enrollment

Candidates will be notified of the decision in less than 2 weeks once the application process has been completed. Once admitted, you will be sent a service provision agreement that must be filled out by the date indicated, along with the required bank deposit.

Essential Requirements for GIMFA Program Students

Participants in the program must complete various formalities, such as obtaining visas and insurance. Additionally, their arrival and transfer will be coordinated based on the information provided by their families, ensuring a smooth experience from the start of their stay in Spain.

Obtaining a Visa

The costs of obtaining the Visa are borne by the player’s family.

Airport Transfers

Along with the letter of admission, GIMFA will send a form where families will indicate the expected date of arrival and the information about flights or trips, to organize the collection and transfer of the student from the airport to the residence.

Medical, Accident and Civil Liability Insurance Policies

Players participating in the program will be covered at all times by two different medical insurance policies:

On the one hand, with a compulsory medical insurance for all students in Spain, which guarantees coverage in the Spanish Public Health System.

On the other hand, GIMFA will contract a private medical insurance for all participants in the program. The contracted insurance includes an Accident and Civil Liability Insurance Policy.
